Project statement
On the streets of Kathmandu in search of womanhood, I bid farewell to parts of myself that were once afraid to be seen.
Hum means me in Maithili, my mother tongue, and is a testimony to the permissions I gave myself to be who I am. It is a history of our shared experience as women, and my ode to womanhood.
